Firdaus Whiskey Serenade


·       Tea – Firdaus

·       Spirit – Whiskey (Preferably a smooth blended whiskey or a light single malt)


Ingredients:

- 2 oz (60 ml) whiskey

- 1 oz (30 ml) Firdaus tea syrup (recipe below)

- 0.5 oz (15 ml) fresh lemon juice

- 2 dashes orange bitters

- Soda water

- Ice


Garnish: Saffron threads and a twist of orange peel


For the Tea Syrup:

- 1 cup water (230 ml)

- 1 cup sugar (200 gms)

- 3 tablespoons Firdaus (15 gms)


Instructions:

1. Prepare the tea syrup:

   - Bring water to a boil and add sugar, stirring until dissolved

   - Remove from heat, add tea and steep for 5 minutes

   - Strain and let cool

2. In a shaker, combine whiskey, Firdaus tea syrup, lemon juice and bitters with ice.

3. Shake well and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.

4. Top with a splash of soda water.

5. Garnish with saffron threads and an orange peel twist.

Heavenly Firdaus Rum Elixir

·       Tea – Firdaus

·       Spirit – White Rum


Ingredients:

- 2 oz (60 ml) White Rum

- 1 oz (30 ml) Firdaus Tea

- 0.5 oz (15 ml) Honey syrup

- 0.5 oz (15 ml) Coconut cream

- 0.25 oz (7 ml) Lime juice

- Ice

- Garnish: Edible gold leaf and a sprinkle of ground cardamom


For the Tea Syrup:

- 1 cup water (230 ml)

- 1 cup sugar (200 gms)

- 3 tablespoons Firdaus (15 gms)


Instructions:

1. Prepare the tea syrup:

   - Bring water to a boil and add sugar, stirring until dissolved

   - Remove from heat, add tea and steep for 5 minutes

   - Strain and let cool

2. In a shaker, combine White rum, cold-brewed Firdaus tea, honey syrup, coconut cream and lime juice with ice.

3. Shake vigorously until well-chilled.

4. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.

5. Garnish with a small piece of edible gold leaf and a light dusting of ground cardamom.

Both cocktails are designed to highlight the unique aroma and taste of the truly one of a kind Firdaus Tea infusion while complementing them with carefully chosen spirits and additional ingredients.


The Snow kissed Kashmir Infusion. Inspired by the serenity of Lidderwat, Kashmir, this infusion makes you pause for a while and absorb life in that moment. Hints of saffron with splashes of cockscomb flower giving the cup a soft pink, all infused with classic Green Tea. Soft to the palate, warm to the heart.
